Description

Chops is the inspiration of Shelter Pets, and the most adorable labrador-collie mix you'll ever see. He was born in January of 2002 and was adopted from the Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) in Wheaton, Illinois. His shelter name was Roach, and he was one of the most large and energetic puppies in the area, and was even (politely) kicked out of a large retail chain's puppy school for jumping over the barrier and running through the aisles of the store.

Over the years Chops became the gentlest of giants, and was the best dog anyone could ask for. His unique markings included one that looked like the mathematical symbol of pi on his chest and white pages. This Shelter Pets features him in his older age, with a white snout and cute, floppy ears.

Chops measures 10 inches tall and is soft, cuddly, and ready to be a part of any family. For every Chops sold, 10% of net sales will be donated back to the shelter he was adopted from (ARF in Wheaton, IL), and you can read more about Chops and see pictures on the official Shelter Pets website.
