GERmanikures nail scissor will smoothly cut nails with a minimal need for filing afterward. The heirloom quality high carbon stainless steel and innovative design combine to improve upon the traditional German standards of longevity and precision. - GERmanikure blends innovative German design with modern high carbon stainless steel to make scissors that will last. Raw steel is imported in bulk rolls from Sweden specifically for use in GERmanikure's FINOX line; no other steel met GERmanikures requirements for consistency, hardness and durability. The formulation for high carbon stainless steel is precisely and carefully controlled so that it is just as strong as traditional high carbon steel but also is just as care free and rust resistant as common stainless steel. - The open type of joint allows access for easy cleaning and lubrication. This special beveled area around the joint reduces the frictionable surface area of the joint, so that wear and tear is minimal and movement stays smooth over decades of use. - The screw that holds the two halves of the scissor together is individually set by hand to exactly the right tension and locked in place. Adjusting the screw will unlock it, resulting in irreparable harm to the scissor. GERmanikure uses a star shaped torx screw so this lock isnt accidentally broken and the scissor will stay the optimally tensioned. - GERmanikure believes in long tool life, healthful living, and good environmental stewardship. Each tool is handcrafted in Solingen, Germany by trained adult artisans in a factory that recycles leftover production waste and filters its wastewater.
